The International Designer Canine Association recognized and began recording registration for the Weimardoodle in 2009.

Hybrid Origin:  The Weimardoodle is a hybrid between the Poodle and the Weimaraner.

Country of Origin:  Weimardoodles originate in the United States of America.

Original Purpose:  The Weimardoodle is a great companion for the entire family.

Breed Characteristics:  The Weimardoodle typically is friendly towards children and other pets and animals when socialized at a young age.

Weimardoodles are highly protective of their family and make good watchdogs.

Weimardoodles have a high energy level and should be supervised around young children to prevent an accident.
