Registration: All Shepadoodles are registrable with the International Designer Canine Registry and are eligible for full registration and pedigree services.

The International Designer Canine Association recognized and began recording registration for the Shepadoodle in 2009.

Hybrid Origin:  The Shepadoodle is a hybrid between the German Shepherd and the Poodle.

Country of Origin:  Shepadoodles originate in the United States of America.

Original Purpose:  The Shepadoodle is a great family companion.

Breed Characteristics:  Shepadoodles are very loyal, faithful, versatile, calm, fearless, courageous, self-confident and very strong dogs.

The Shepadoodle makes a good family dog with proper socialization at a young age.

Shepadoodles should be supervised around children due to there size and excitability.

Some Shepadoodles have made ideal herding, police, guard and guide dogs when training at an early age. 

Life Expectancy:  Average life expectance for the Shepadoodle is 10 - 12 years.
