The International Designer Canine Association recognized and began recording registration for the Chi Chi in 2009.

Hybrid Origin:  The Chi Chi is a hybrid between the Chihuahua and the Chinese Crested.

Erroneous Alias:  Chichi, Chi-Chi, Mexican Crested

Country of Origin:  Chi Chi's originate in the United States of America.

Original Purpose:  The Chi Chi is a great family companion.

Breed Characteristics:  Chi Chi tend to be friendly, personable, willing and very playful when properly trained and socialized.

The coat of the Chi Chi can be short, long or hairless depending on the parents.

Chi Chis generally get along great with the entire family and are eager to please.

Chi Chis don't require much exercise.

Life Expectancy:  Average life expectance for the Chi Chi is 10 - 13 years.
