Registration: All Cairnoodles are registrable with the International Designer Canine Registry and are eligible for full registration and pedigree services.

The International Designer Canine Association recognized and began recording registration for the Cairnoodle in 2009.

Hybrid Origin:  The Cairnoodle is a hybrid between the Cairn Terrier and the Poodle.

Country of Origin:  Cairnoodles originate in the United States of America.


Original Purpose:  The Cairnoodle is a exceptional family companion.


Breed Characteristics: 
Cairnoodles typically are strong, stout, muscular, powerful and well-built.

The Cairnoodle tends to be active, alert and cheerful.

Cairnoodle are commonly trustworthy, friendly and loving of their owners.

Cairnoodles are dedicated and loyal to their owners but do not take well to strangers and should be well socialized at a young age to prevent a  fearfulness of strangers.

Cairnoodles love playing with children and other animals when socialized at a young age.


Life Expectancy:
