Registration: All Borgis are registrable with the International Designer Canine Registry and are eligible for full registration and pedigree services.

The International Designer Canine Association recognized and began recording registration for the Borgi in 2009.

Hybrid Origin: 
The Borgi is a hybrid between the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Border Collie.

Erroneous Alias:  Borgie

Country of Origin:  Borgis originate in the United States of America.

Original Purpose:  The Borgi is a great family companion.

Breed Characteristics:  Borgis tend to have short legs, erect ears, tapered  muzzle similar to the Corgi.

Borgis generally are intelligent and make excellent herding dog, family pet and watchdog.

The Borgi can be athletic like the Border Collie at times and calm like the Pembroke Welsh Corgi at times.

Borgis commonly love children and are tolerant of small pets and other animals with proper socialization.

Life Expectancy:  Average life expectance for the Borgi is 13 - 16 years.
